Infrastructure

One of our biggest issues for San Tan Valley is infrastructure

  • One of the biggest issues for San Tan Valley is our infrastructure. It is increasingly impossible to travel from one end of the Valley to the other in any reasonable amount of time. With the vast, unplanned growth that has occurred in such a short period of time, the infrastructure has been unable to keep up. We need roads that will provide safe access in and out of our county and communities. For instance, Meridian Rd. divides Pinal County from Maricopa County. If it was extended from Baseline Rd to Combs Rd it would eliminate congested traffic on Ironwood Rd and Ellsworth Rd., benefiting the cities of Mesa, Queen Creek, Apache Junction, and San Tan Valley (Pinal County). The cost could be split between counties and HURF funds. The State owned land would be part of the process.
